I can't help but attach a few words to this Friday's Foto.
Our apartment complex is brand new, which means there's lots of renovations being completed, lots of construction still going on, and lots and lots and lots of trash being produced. This country has trash issues. I'm not going to go into a ton of detail...but a lot of it is great. They recycle almost everything. And for this crunchy mama, that's really cool.
But a lot of it is really annoying. Take for instance, the fact that all of the community's trash is currently dumped right outside our apartment door. (well give or take 50 feet). It's literally TONS of trash that piles up in one day. Then after a few days, a bulldozer type tractor and dump truck come and carry it away.
So, annoying yes. Especially when the bulldozer comes and makes it's racket around midnight.
But, the entertainment that it provides my children is fabulous. Salem, especially, is fascinated by the "tractor" that comes to our window so often. For those minutes that it's there, he's glued to that window!

Am I allowed to say that I want to pinch Salem's little booty right off? Because I want to. He is so yummy in that pic! Glad you have a bulldozer to clean things up...it could be worse! Will Caleb even know that bulldozers and trash piles aren't the norm? :)
Yeah - Archie and I are totally with ya on the cool/annoying construction thing!!! Loving the food still? I seriously did not cook after we got a house helper. We ate out pretty much every meal she did not cook and stayed under our U.S. grocery budget. (Disclamer - that was eating local cheap stuff.) I so miss the breakfasts...

yeah, we're still enjoying the food. we have chinese food every day for lunch (our house helper makes it! yay!!) and for dinner we usually eat western food that I've made or that my house helper has helped prepare. We don't eat out much chinese food just simply because we get our fill of it at home!! :)

Girlfriend, can I tell you how that very annoying bulldozer brings some happy to my heart. We too have a very annoying Trash truck who has the oh so great pick up trash time that has become Lily's early...did I say early morning wake up alarm and I'm sure everyone elses. Forget sounding a siren for tornadoes just tell the trash truck to drop a few metal trash cans! :) So anyway, now when that lovely alarm goes off every morning instead of getting frustrated I will choose to smile and think of YOU!!!
