as far as easier goes... you'll have to ask Rachel, Keith, and Kevin. None of them knew how to use it at first but then they are doing great now, so they can tell you better. All of this stuff comes easy to me, so I have no reference. But there are somethings you also get like an email, photogallery, and some other stuff.
it's not that hard to use wordpress. do whatever. hey, you have a blog now! write all kinds of stuff. or don't. but if you don't, you won't get comments from anyone. just me. over and over again. :)
